How to Send a Handmade Gift Directly to Someone in the U.S.
To send a handmade felt gift directly to someone, choose the exact character and size, enter the recipient's U.S. address as the shipping address at checkout, and keep your own contact details available for order updates. If you want ribbon presentation, no pricing in the package, and a personal message, select the optional Gift Presentation add-on before adding the item to your cart. Check the shipping policy before choosing an occasion date.
1. Check what you are sending
Begin with a gift the person would enjoy displaying. The FeltWhimsy Gift Guide lets you browse by season, animal, recipient, or complete set. On the product page, check the selected character or set, size, and price. A photograph showing a group is not proof that the group is included. Our single-versus-set guide explains how to check.
These felt pieces are adult display collectibles, not children's toys. If the recipient expects something for play, choose an age-appropriate toy instead.
2. Decide whether to add Gift Presentation
Eligible product pages offer Gift Presentation as a separate $6 add-on. It adds a ribbon finish, omits pricing from the package, and lets you enter an optional personal message. The message field appears after you select the add-on; you can leave it blank. Check the cart before payment to make sure the figurine and the add-on both appear if you chose it.
Without Gift Presentation, do not assume a ribbon or personal note is included. We do not promise a handwritten character card or a handwritten message. If your words matter, type them into the optional message field when you choose Gift Presentation.
3. Use the recipient's U.S. shipping address
Enter the recipient's name and complete U.S. delivery address in the shipping fields at checkout, and review them before paying. Keep your own email where you can receive order updates. 4. Allow time for making and shipping
FeltWhimsy's standard made-to-order production time is seven business days. Tracked shipping typically takes another five to ten business days. Orders placed on weekends begin processing on the next business day, and U.S. holidays can shift the estimate. Read the current Shipping Policy before ordering. A date printed in a gift message does not reserve a delivery slot or guarantee arrival for that occasion.
What if the gift needs to look like their pet?
A ready-made character can be sent through the normal product checkout. A photo-based likeness follows a different path: send reference photos and your preferred size, review a free design preview and quote by email, approve the details, and pay through the link the studio sends you.
