You do not need a studio photoshoot to ask about a custom felt piece. A few clear reference photos and a note about the details you love are enough for us to begin. Our request starts by email, so your photos are not uploaded to an account or stored through a separate website form.
Start with the photo that feels most like them
Choose one image that shows the face or expression you most want us to understand. A front or three-quarter view in even light is usually more useful than a dramatic angle with heavy filters. If the piece is based on a pet, look for a photo where the ears, eyes and distinctive markings are visible. If it is a person or an original character, choose the image that best shows the features or mood you would like to keep.
Use the other photos to show what the first one misses
You can attach up to three reference photos. A side or full-body view can help explain proportions, pose, tail or clothing. A close-up can show a marking, accessory or color that matters to you. Three nearly identical selfies tell us less than three complementary views; one excellent photo is still a good starting point if that is all you have.
JPG, PNG and HEIC files are welcome. Please keep each image under 10 MB. Before sending, check that the important detail is not cropped out and that the colors have not been altered by a strong filter. If an older photo is your only reference, tell us what it does and does not show. We can discuss what is possible in the quote rather than promising an exact likeness from missing information.
Tell us the size and the one detail you would never leave out
On our Customize Your Felt page, choose a preferred size or select “Not sure.” Then describe the colors, pose, expression or accessory that makes this idea personal. You do not have to specify every construction detail. For a group, tell us how many characters you have in mind and the preferred size of each.
What happens after you email?
We review your photos and request, then email a free AI-generated design preview and an individual quote. The preview is a visual guide for discussion, not a photograph of the finished handmade piece. After you approve the design and quote, we send a secure payment link; making begins after approval and payment. We send finished photos for your review before shipping.
There is no payment button on the request page. The goal of your first email is simply to give us enough to make a thoughtful proposal. If you are ready, start your custom request and attach your photos when your email app opens.
